Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Mayfair East will host the Canadian University Tennis Championships, bringing top university players from across the province to the Club.
While member tennis bookings and play will be unavailable from 7:30 AM until closing each day, members are welcome to come out and watch the next generation of Canadian tennis talent in action.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we welcome these athletes to Mayfair East.

Celebrate Ray Murphy with four draws of hard-fought, good-spirited doubles – played the way Ray always player: all in, and all in for each other.
Raymond Charles Murphy was a lifelong Torontonian whose kindness, quiet grace, and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A dedicated educator, Ray spent his career helping students feel supported and inspired. At Mayfair Clubs, he found joy in squash, fitness, and the friendships he built over the years. Beyond the Club, Ray was passionate about giving back, supporting charitable causes through cycling and volunteering, including his work with the veterans at Sunnybrook Hospital’s K-Wing.
This memorial tournament is an opportunity to celebrate Ray’s life and the values he embodied – sportsmanship, generosity, and community. We hope you’ll join us in honouring a cherished friend whose legacy continues to inspire.
