Pre-Requisites: Bronze Medallion and Basic or Intermediate First Aid (or Emergency or Standard First Aid, need not be current) from the Society or another approved agency.

 

Required Reference materials: Canadian Lifesaving Manual, it is the candidates responsibility to obtain a copy, rental copies will be available on site for those who need.

 

Bronze Cross is designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training, including an introduction to safety supervision in aquatic facilities. Pre-Requisites: Bronze Medallion and Emergency or Standard First Aid Evaluation: Items are evaluated by a qualified Lifesaving Examiner.

 

Note: It is the responsibility of the swimmer and/or parent/guardian to ensure they meet the program prerequisites required for the course.
