Class Types

    MetCon is a style of workout that combines strength and cardio conditioning exercises using aerobic and anaerobic training at specifically timed intervals to optimize the body’s energy pathways.

    It's a high energy and high intensity full body workout that targets strength, cardio, endurance, core and functional training! Equipment needed for the online class are small and medium dumbbells or equivalent.

    The Spartan Workout is a garage style workout that focuses on Functional Movement patterns. This class is strength/cardio based program featuring plyometrics, body weight work and compound functional movements to help create strength and mobility Through multiple joint ranges.

    Power Pump is a head-to-toe workout that incorporates barbells, dumbbells, core, and functional training into one highly intensive workout. The benefits include bone health, balance, improved range of motion, along with overall muscular strength and conditioning. This will be a great complement to the Group Power class.

    This program builds strength from the ground up. The class is designed to systematically build upon basic functional movements that gradually increase in complexity and load challenge. You may elect to use weights or your own body weight. Either way its a challenging class. the class will ultimately benefit you by improving mobility, spatial, awareness and body control. This class is for everyone.

    The 20/20 workout is a constantly changing workout that is formatted in 2, 20 min segments finishing with a stretch cool down. It is an instructors and members choice class and could be organized as a cardio and strength, Plyometrics and core, Dance and stretch, the combinations are many. It could incorporate dumbbells, balls, barbells etc. The benefits of this workout include mobility, bone health, balance, improved range of motion, along with overall muscular strength and conditioning

    Challenge your core, balance and muscle control with this class. Working on an unstable piece of equipment such as a stability ball, requires you to work harder than you would if you were on a stable surface. You must fine tune your movement to control even the simplest of exercise techniques. It takes control, strength and a coordinated nervous system activation. You get all of that in this class. you will utilize a stability ball and free weights.

    A form of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) presented in boot camp format. The workouts are short in duration, using a 20 sec work, 10 sec rest protocol. It is designed to boost post exercise caloric burn, so your metabolism keeps burning more calories, long after the exercise is over.

    Barre Fusion is a balanced blend of ballet barre work that helps strengthen legs and glutes; Pilates, to build a strong core; and stretch to increase mobility and flexibility. This is a full body workout.

    Burn and Roll is a strength based class that utilizes resistance equipment like dumbbells, barbells, tubing and body weight. It also uses mobility equipment such as foam rollers for muscle and joint health. This class will increase overall strength, flexibility and range of motion.

    HIIT Overload – High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Equipment used in this class creates the Overload component and takes HIIT to the next level.

Andrey is a versatile instructor who works out of our Parkway location. Andrey teaches Athletic Cycle and Cycle Fit as well as some Mind Body classes like Yoga. Don’t let his calm personality fool you – this guy will have you sweating!
