Introducing New Group Fitness Team Members to Mayfair West
We are excited to welcome FIVE new instructors to the Mayfair family, each bringing their own expertise and passion for fitness.
Anna Figliomeni
With over 19 years of experience in coaching fitness and wellness, Anna is a certified Fitness Instructor Specialist and Zumba Instructor Specialist. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role, offering a wide range of classes including Aqua Fit, Bootcamp, Circuit Training, Cycle Fit, High Intensity Interval Training, Kickboxing, Muscle Conditioning, Pilates, Step, Tabata, Yoga, and Zumba. Anna believes that great things come from hard work and perseverance, and her mission is to inspire others to move, feel confident, have fun, and get fit. We’re excited to have her as part of our team!
Paula Fera
Paula Fera’s fitness journey began in 2017 after an impressive 28-year career as the owner, operator, and instructor of Young Dancers of Canada in Vaughan. With her deep roots in dance, Paula transitioned into group fitness instruction, quickly gaining a loyal following in a variety of classes, including Body Core, Boot Camp, Power Core, Pilates, Barre, Step, and Zumba.
Accredited by Canfitpro in 2021, Paula teaches and trains across the Greater Toronto Area, combining her dance background and fitness expertise to create engaging and dynamic classes. She uses music as a tool to make exercises more enjoyable, energizing, and easy to follow. Paula is passionate about motivating adults to lead an active lifestyle and improve their overall health through fitness.
Aamir Lakdawala
Aamir Lakdawala is a Psychology student at York University, an MMA athlete, and a fitness enthusiast with a deep passion for helping others build strength and confidence. He is also an avid soccer fan and a proud supporter of Arsenal.
Aamir specializes in boot camps, HIIT, and strength and cardio conditioning, creating a supportive and motivating environment for participants of all fitness levels. His goal is to empower individuals to reach their full potential, both physically and mentally, through dynamic and challenging workouts.
Henry Tsang
Henry Tsang is an experienced instructor with over a decade of experience in the world of spin. His love for fitness and community has driven him to develop a teaching style that is both motivating and accessible to all fitness levels.
Having started his spin journey over ten years ago, Henry has honed his skills in various spinning techniques and workout designs, ensuring that each class is both challenging and enjoyable. His philosophy focuses on creating a holistic fitness experience where music, energy, and community come together to push participants beyond their physical and mental limits.
In Henry’s spin classes, you can expect a dynamic blend of intense sprints, challenging hills, and high-energy intervals that are designed to boost endurance and fitness. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cyclist, Henry will guide you every step of the way, helping you achieve your fitness goals while fostering a sense of camaraderie within the group.
Mahshid Mirshokraee
Mashid is a certified spinning instructor with over 10 years of experience as a fitness coach. Her goal is to create dynamic, high-energy classes that inspire and challenge riders of all fitness levels. Mashid focuses on blending motivational coaching with effective training techniques and curated playlists to make every ride both empowering and fun. Mashid is currently expanding her skills through Pilates training. She is passionate about helping others build strength, confidence, and balance in their fitness journey. She is passionate about building a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone feels supported and encouraged to reach their goals. Fitness is not just about physical health—it’s also about fostering a sense of community and helping clients build confidence that extends beyond the studio. She can’t wait to ride with you and help you crush your goals!
Barrelotes with Emily Parr
